Oxford Symposia attracts participants from various countries, fostering a diverse and enriching exchange of ideas. While our presenters primarily consist of professors, we also welcome delegates from diverse backgrounds to contribute to the discourse.
Yes, each co-author who plans to co-present at the symposium must register separately as a presenter. Only registered presenters will be included in the conference programme and permitted to present.
In order for a person to make a presentation at the Symposium she/he must first submit an abstract, which if approved by the Symposium Programme Committee, will reserve a place for presentation on the meeting agenda.
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer any funding support or scholarships. The invitee’s institution or organization generally incurs the cost. We recommend that participants seek funding from their institution or from external academic grants. We can also provide you with a formal invitation letter, a supporting document that has successfully assisted past participants in securing financial aid.
Costs associated with the registration fee include venue fee, catered coffee and tea, catered lunch, personnel costs, equipment costs, and facilitator fees, double-blind refereeing of papers, and conference programme materials. access to conference papers, refreshments during seminars, and buffet lunch.
We keep our symposia small to allow for constructive discourse between all the attendees. A remote presentation does not lend itself well to this setting.
The programme for the meeting will be set well in advance, thus payment at the gate Is not permitted.
Our dress code is business casual. Ensure you have comfortable shoes for walking around Oxford.
